Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add buttermilk; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
Pour into a greased 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan.
Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
