Instructions
Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Set aside. In a medium saucepan, whisk together milk and sugar. Bring milk to a steady simmer, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
Whisk in chocolate until smooth.
Let mixture come to room temperature, then mix in whiskey.
Pour over vanilla ice cream, if desired.
