Beef Tostadas
Beef Tostadas requires roughly 30 minutes from start to finish. One portion of this dish contains roughly 32g of protein, 46g of fat, and a total of 678 calories. This recipe serves 4. Head to the store and pick up monterey jack cheese, vegetable oil, refried beans, and a few other things to make it today. It is a good option if you're following a gluten free diet. It works well as a hor d'oeuvre.
Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook, stirring, 1 minute.
Add the beef and 1/2 teaspoon salt and cook, breaking up the meat, until browned, about 3 minutes.
Add the tomato paste and chili powder and cook, stirring, about 2 more minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the refried beans in a small saucepan. Thin the sour cream with about 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl.
Spread the beans on the tostadas, then top with the beef and cheese.
Drizzle with the sour cream. Top with lettuce, hot sauce and/or cilantro.

Recommended wine: Sparkling Wine, Sparkling Rose
Sparkling Wine and Sparkling rosé are my top picks for Antipasti. If you're serving a selection of appetizers, you can't go wrong with these. Both are very food friendly and complement a variety of flavors. One wine you could try is Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry. It has 4.4 out of 5 stars and a bottle costs about 15 dollars.
Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry
Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry Champagne offers aromas of ripe apple complemented by hints of citrus. Toasty flavors complement the creamy, lingering finish. Best served chilled (36-40 °F), this bubbly is perfectly balanced with multiple layers of fruit to delight the palate.
