Healthy Picadillo
You can never have too many main course recipes, so give Healthy Picadillo If you have salt, bell pepper, bell pepper, and a few other ingredients on hand, you can make it. To use up the olive oil you could follow this main course with the Sauteed Banana, Granolan and Yogurt Parfait as a dessert. From preparation to the plate, this recipe takes approximately 45 minutes.
Instructions
Cook beef in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned; stir to crumble.
Remove from pan; drain well.
Add onion and garlic; saut 3 minutes.
Add bell peppers and carrot; saut 3 minutes. Return beef to pan. Stir in raisins and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaves.
