Cioppino
Need From preparation to the plate, this recipe takes approximately 40 minutes.
Instructions
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium high heat.
Add onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes, then add garlic, red pepper, red pepper flakes and bay leaves and cook until garlic is aromatic – about 4 minutes.
Add crab to pan and toss with vegetables.
Pour stock and tomatoes over crab mixture and bring to a simmer, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
Add fish, scallops, shrimp and clams to the pan and cover. Cook until clams are open, about 10 minutes.
Serve with sliced scallions and toasted bread (ideally sourdough).
