Preheat oven to 350F. Beat butter and cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
Add sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla.

Add to cream cheese mixture alternately with the milk, mixing well after each addition.
Pour into greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan; dot with preserves.
