Recommended wine: Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel
Meatloaf works really well with Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. Meatloaf will work with many red wines. We recommend something bold and fruity, like a Cabernet Sauvignon or Zinfandel. The Nickel & Nickel Quicksilver Cabernet Sauvignon with a 4.5 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 120 dollars per bottle.
Nickel & Nickel Quicksilver Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2013 Quicksilver Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon presents intriguing aromas of plum, cherry, raspberry and sage. These vibrant fruit characters are carried on to the palate with hints of thyme, black tea and signature Rutherford dust. This medley of juicy fruits and herb makes this wine remarkably appealing, while the elegant and coating texture carries these flavors to a luscious finish.
