Recommended wine: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Sparkling Rose, Sparkling Wine
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc are my top picks for Chicken Wings. White meat is typically paired with white wine as to not overpower the flavor of the meat, so chardonnay and sauvignon blanc are safe choices. Chicken prepared with a tomato sauce or certainly a red wine sauce can and should be served with a red like a pinot noir. The Walter Hansel The North Slope Vineyard Chardonnay with a 4.4 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 39 dollars per bottle.

This vineyard site slopes 40 feet South to North with terrific sun exposure throughout the day and into the sunset. This is a field blend of French clone 95 and clone 76. These wines tend to show their Burgundy heritage.
