Instructions
For the crust:Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with a sheet of foil so it covers the bottom and all four sides.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, and nuts in a food processor. Pulse until nuts are finely ground.
Add melted butter and vanilla and combine until mixture is damp and begins to clump around the blade.
Remove dough and knead it to finish combining ingredients. Press dough evenly over bottom of prepared pan.
