Instructions
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Cover and chill for 2-3 hours or until easy to handle.
On a floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-in. thickness.
Place 1 in. apart on greased baking sheets.
