Instructions
Drain cherries, reserving syrup.
Add enough cold water to syrup to measure 1-1/2 cups.
Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cherry liquid and almond extract. Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened. Stir in cherries.
Pour into 5-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray.
Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Top with COOL WHIP and nuts just before serving.
