Recommended wine: Pinot Grigio, Sparkling Rose, Viognier

Mackerel works really well with Pinot Grigio, Sparkling rosé, and Viognier. Strongly flavored, oily fish like mackerel pair well with these crisp white wines and sparkling wine, even rosé. One wine you could try is Esperto Pinot Grigio. It has 4.5 out of 5 stars and a bottle costs about 10 dollars.
