Instructions
Position rackin center of oven; preheat to 375°F. Spray10-inch-diameter cake pan with 2-inch-highsides with nonstick spray.
Combine1/2 cup brown sugar, butter, and corn syrupin medium saucepan.
Whisk over mediumheat until sugar dissolves and syrupis bubbling at edges, about 2 minutes.
Spread syrup evenly in prepared pan.Arrange pecans, rounded side down, inconcentric circles in syrup.
Mix 1/3 cupsugar, dates, and cinnamon in small bowl.
