Heat heavy large skillet overmedium heat.
Add pine nuts andstir until lightly toasted, about3 minutes.
Add 2 tablespoons oil andonions to same skillet and sautéuntil beginning to soften andturn golden, about 10 minutes.Reduce heat to medium-low andcontinue to sauté until onionsare tender and browned, about30 minutes longer.
Add garlicand stir 2 minutes. Scatter beetgreens over onions.
