Dilly Salad Croutons
Need From preparation to the plate, this recipe takes approximately 20 minutes. A Dilly of a Pea Salad, Dilly Pea Salad, and Dilly Potato Salad are very similar to this recipe.
Instructions
Place bread in a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Spray evenly with cooking spray; sprinkle with dill and butter-flavored sprinkles.
Bake at 300° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Store in an airtight container.
Recommended wine: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gruener Veltliner
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gruener Veltliner are my top picks for Salad. Sauvignon Blanc and Gruner Veltliner both have herby notes that complement salads with enough acid to match tart vinaigrettes, while a Chardonnay can be a good pick for creamy salad dressings. The Diamond Collection Chardonnay with a 5 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 16 dollars per bottle.
