Instructions
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and pumpkin.
Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger and cloves; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chips and walnuts.
Pour into a greased 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan.
Bake at 350° for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
