Tuna, Artichoke and Pepper Salad
Tuna, Artichoke and Pepper Salad is Head to the store and pick up albacore tunan in water, roasted bell peppers, garlic, and a few other things to make it today. To use up the olive oil you could follow this main course with the Sauteed Banana, Granolan and Yogurt Parfait as a dessert.
Instructions
Drain artichokes, reserving 2 tablespoons marinade. Coarsely chop artichokes.
In large bowl, stir together artichokes, reserved marinade, dill, oil, lemon juice, pepper and garlic.
Add spinach, tuna and roasted peppers; toss well.
Recommended wine: Merlot, Pinot Noir, Rose Wine
Merlot, Pinot Noir, and rosé Wine are my top picks for Tuna. Though fish is often paired with white wine, 'meatier' fish like tuna can absolutely go with red wine. A Rosé will also pair nicely, particularly if your tunan is prepared with ingredients better suited to a white wine. The La Jota Howell Mountain Merlot with a 4.2 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 99 dollars per bottle.
