Instructions
Season chicken on all sides with salt and pepper.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until lightly smoking.
Add chicken skin-side down and cook without moving until well browned, 6 to 7 minutes. Flip and brown second side, about 5 minutes longer.
