This recipe covers 2% of your daily requirements of vitamins and minerals. This recipe serves 36. It is a good option if you're following a gluten free, dairy free, and pescatarian diet. If you have sesame seeds, cayenne pepper, vegetable oil, and a few other ingredients on hand, you can make it.
Instructions
Heat the oven to 400°F and arrange a rack in the middle. Line a baking sheet with foil; set aside.
Place the sesame seeds on a plate; set aside.
Combine the mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, cayenne pepper, and scallions in a medium bowl; set aside.
Place the shrimp in a large bowl, add the vegetable oil, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat. Dip one side of each shrimp in the toasted sesame seeds, skewer, and place on the prepared baking sheet, seeds-side up.
Bake until the shrimp are firm to the touch, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Serve immediately with the dipping sauce.
Recommended wine: Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc
Pinot Grigio, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc are my top picks for Shrimp. These crisp white wines work well with shrimp prepared in a variety of ways, whether grilled, fried, or in garlic sauce. The Thrive Pinot Grigio with a 4.5 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 15 dollars per bottle.
