Recommended wine: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gruener Veltliner
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gruener Veltliner are my top picks for Salad. Sauvignon Blanc and Gruner Veltliner both have herby notes that complement salads with enough acid to match tart vinaigrettes, while a Chardonnay can be a good pick for creamy salad dressings. One wine you could try is Simi Sonoma County Chardonnay. It has 4 out of 5 stars and a bottle costs about 19 dollars.

Simi Sonoma County Chardonnay
Brilliantly clear, light yellow straw. Fresh green apple, nectarine, Meyer lemon and orange zest are laced with notes of vanilla, honey and toasted brioche with a lifted mineral edge. Golden delicious apple and tangerine are lightly warmed with subtle notes of cream, butter and smoke finishing with a note of lime zest.
