Instructions
In a Dutch oven, saute the onion, green pepper, jalapeno and chipotle pepper in oil until tender.
Add the tomatoes, pepper sauce, sugar, salt, chili powder and cumin. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat; stir in cilantro and Liquid Smoke if desired.
Meanwhile, sprinkle steaks with steak seasoning. Grill, over medium heat for 7-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°).
