Instructions
In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in extract.
Combine flour and oats; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Roll out between waxed paper to 1/4-in. thickness.
Cut with a floured 2-1/2-in. cookie cutters.
Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
