Shrimp Pili Pili
You can never have too many main course recipes, so give Shrimp Pili Pili a try. This gluten free, primal, and pescatarian recipe serves 4. One serving contains 365 calories, 30g of protein, and 25g of fat. Head to the store and pick up shell-on shrimp, thai chiles, salt and pepper, and a few other things to make it today. To use up the ground cumin you could follow this main course with the Moroccan Chocolate Mousse as a dessert. From preparation to the plate, this recipe takes roughly 35 minutes.
Instructions
With kitchen shears, cut down the backs of each shrimp shell, keeping the shells intact.
Remove the dark intestinal veins, then thread the shrimp onto 4 metal skewers.
In a medium skillet, melt the butter.
Add the Thai chiles, garlic, ginger, red bell pepper, ground cumin and smoked paprika and cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until fragrant, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a mini food processor, add the lime juice and puree. Stir in the cilantro and season the spiced butter with salt and pepper.
Light a grill. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, both outside the shell and inside the cut-open back. Grill the shrimp over high heat, basting with the flavored butter and turning often, until just cooked through, about 2 1/2 minutes per side.
Spread any remaining butter on the shrimp and serve right away.
Recommended wine: Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc
Pinot Grigio, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc are my top picks for Shrimp. These crisp white wines work well with shrimp prepared in a variety of ways, whether grilled, fried, or in garlic sauce. One wine you could try is Tangent Paragon Vineyard Pinot Gris. It has 4.6 out of 5 stars and a bottle costs about 12 dollars.

Tangent Paragon Vineyard Pinot Gris
Framed by a light lemony acidity and vibrant minerality, thispinot gris was made in the traditional dry style of northern Italy. It is surprisingly full-bodied, with concentrated flavors of peach, ginger and tropical fruit, with a hint of a pine-resin character. A great wine on its own, Tangent Pinot Gris pairs well with a widerange of foods including seafood, pasta with light sauces, evengrilled sausages.
