Nutty crusted fish
Nutty crusted fish requires roughly 30 minutes from start to finish. One serving contains 79 calories, 2g of protein, and 6g of fat. This recipe serves 4. This recipe covers 6% of your daily requirements of vitamins and minerals. A mixture of hazelnut, wasabi, g sustainably sourced fish, and a handful of other ingredients are all it takes to make this recipe so scrumptious. Only a few people really liked this hor d'oeuvre. It is a good option if you're following a gluten free, dairy free, paleolithic, and primal diet. Pistachio Crusted Fish, Sesame Crusted Fish, and Sesame-Crusted Fish are very similar to this recipe.
Instructions
Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas
To make the crust, use a mortar and pestle or processor to grind the hazelnuts with the shallots, garlic, coriander, wasabi and lime juice.
Lay the fish fillets in a baking dish and smear the tops with the nutty mixture. Spoon a little water round the fillets, just enough to thinly cover the bottom of the baking dish.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins until the fish is cooked through.
Serve with rice, lime wedges and a green salad.
Recommended wine: Pinot Grigio, Gruener Veltliner, Pinot Noir
Pinot Grigio, Gruener Veltliner, and Pinot Noir are my top picks for Fish. Fish is as diverse as wine, so it's hard to pick wines that go with every fish. A crisp white wine, such as a pinot grigio or Grüner Veltliner, will suit any delicately flavored white fish. Meaty, strongly flavored fish such as salmon and tuna can even handle a light red wine, such as a pinot noir. You could try Mark West Pinot Grigio. Reviewers quite like it with a 4.5 out of 5 star rating and a price of about 13 dollars per bottle.
Mark West Pinot Grigio
Crisp and clean, this wine features honeydew, stone fruit, and citrus with a subtle, clean, lingering finish.Try pairing with good old fish and chips, summer salads, and steamed clams by the dozen...or dozens.
