Instructions
In a large bowl, cream shortening and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, water and vanilla.
Combine the flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased and floured 9-in. heart-shaped baking pan.
Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes or until center is set (do not overbake). Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.

Add enough remaining milk to achieve a frosting consistency. Frost brownie with 3/4 cup frosting. Using food coloring, tint remaining frosting and decorate as desired.
