Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the basil, garlic powder and pepper. In a large skillet, saute the zucchini, tomatoes, onion and 1 teaspoon spice mixture in 1/2 teaspoon oil until zucchini is crisp-tender.
Sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over cubed steaks. In the same skillet, cook steaks in remaining oil over medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Recommended wine: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir
Steak works really well with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. After all, beef and red wine are a classic combination. Generally, leaner steaks go well with light or medium-bodied reds, such as pinot noir or merlot, while fattier steaks can handle a bold red, such as cabernet sauvingnon. The Enate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot with a 4.7 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 19 dollars per bottle.

Enate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Fully ruby color. A complex blackcurrant, blackberry aroma with a touch of violet and hints of red pepper, vanilla and herbs. Smooth and round mouthfeel; the soft tannic cushion gives way to a flavorsome palate which releases pleasant honey-roast aromas. The well-balanced acidity will ensure improvement in the bottle over the next five years.
