Instructions
In a small bowl, combine cherries and brandy. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt.
Combine oil and milk; using a fork, stir oil mixture into flour mixture just until blended. Pat evenly onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. pie plate; set aside.
Drain cherries, reserving 1 tablespoon brandy; set aside.
For the filling, in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and reserved brandy.
Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in the pecans, chocolate and cherries; pour into prepared pastry.
Bake at 325° for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Cover edges with foil during the last 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning if necessary. Cool on a wire rack.
Serve with whipped cream if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
