Beef Stroganoff Melt

Instructions
In a large skillet, cook the beef, mushrooms and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the salt, garlic powder and pepper.
Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream
Cut French bread in half lengthwise.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Spread butter over cut halves; top with meat mixture and half of the cheese.
Arrange green pepper and tomatoes on top.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
