Recommended wine: Zinfandel, Sparkling Rose
Zinfandel and Sparkling rosé are great choices for Barbecue Chicken. Fruity, low tannin zinfandel is great for any sticky, saucy barbecue chicken dish. If you're not feeling red wine, a sparkling rosé will work too. The Carnivor Zinfandel with a 4.2 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 16 dollars per bottle.
Carnivor Zinfandel
Full-bodied Carnivor Zinfandel is juicy, bold, big and flavorful, featuring hints of spice with a smooth touch for a complete palate. Intense dark fruit flavors of blackberry, plum and boysenberry are matched with notes of mocha, dark chocolate, black pepper and baking spice. Flavors of vanilla and toasted almond linger with a long, smooth finish.
