Recommended wine: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling are my top picks for Chowder. Chowder can benefit from a crisp white to cut through the rich, creamy broth - or you can go big or go home with a rich, buttery chardonnay. The Bien Nacido Estate Chardonnay with a 4.9 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 53 dollars per bottle.
Bien Nacido Estate Chardonnay
Inviting aromas of meyer lemon, chamomile and cut straw burst out of the glass. The bright entry yields to a dense and energetic palate that is all straight lines and mouth watering minerality.
